Mom took Lily back to the doctor with another boil today. He lanced it, and reported to my mom that [in the future] no one should should squeeze, poke, or otherwise bother her boils. This doesn't come as news to me, but it will to Belinda. I immediately called Ben after speaking to Mom, to explain that any future boils she has cannot be rubbed with the long part of a needle, squeezed, etc. He countered..."what's the difference with Dr. Meredith 'lancing' it, and Mom squeezing it?". I explained that Meredith is a medical professional, and Belinda is not, he is not, and I am not. That is why we took her to the Doctor. If we could know what to do in all medical situations, just by taking classes for 6 weeks...there wouldn't be doctors!
I am going to call her tonight, just to make sure my point is clear. Ben said he would call her, but he is so self-absorbed, he'll probably forget.
Another day in the life of Ben's ex-wife!
Good News Update: tomorrow I get to have lunch with Jason. Who, glad to say, handled hearing about Stephen McCloud very well...even when the replays of our conversations got weird.
Break is over, and I'm breaking the rules...so later!

Just another example of what happens when people have no accountability. And it is another example of how this one individual's reality (I'm a nurse) is skewed. She is a nurse because she says so. whew. Well, I think I will start doing that. Today I'm a brain surgeon.
I'm a cardiologist!
