Potato Soup & Traffic Jams

I was heading into work early this morning, to make up time I missed yesterday after going home sick...I had reached a point of no return on the interstate, when I heard on the radio they were shutting down I 24 E. behind me. So, I sat on the interstate for 1 hr 45 minutes this morning. Boy, was I glad when I heard the big rigs starting up...knew that meant we would be moving soon. So, now I have 5 hours instead of 3 to make up. Joy!!

Tonji gave me her recipe for potato soup today. I can't wait to try it, and I hope that Lily will try it. I am going to call it "white soup", so maybe she won't "guess" it has potatoes in it (she hates ALL things potato). That got me thinking, maybe I will buy some Campbell's potato soup for dinner tonight...cause there is NO WAY I'm cooking tonight (or folding Mt. Laundry).

I finished Lily's poncho...and found out that crocheting is MUCH faster than knitting. Lily really likes the poncho. I may start up another division of Swanky Baby (swanky kid)...and have a line of woven garmets & accessories! Hehehehe.... The TN Division.

Well, break time is over and I didn't get to search for the video clip of Faith Hill freaking out when Carrie Underwood won Female Vocalist of the Year. Maybe tomorrow.
