Last night me, Lily, Mom, & Dad trekked to Nashville to see the Lion King. Lily LOVED it! She sat in my lap the whole time and clapped at the end of every scene. We sat in the balcony on row Y...the VERY LAST row. We could see good though. Mom was totally in the zone, she was so excited about seeing her "first Broadway play". During intermission, I think she read the entire program.
Nikki, the girls, and I ran around on Saturday. We went to the "new" Mexican restaurant in Kimball, Mucho Caliente. I had nachos with chicken and jalapenos....those peppers were so hot, I was sick for the rest of the afternoon. The nachos were good though.
Then we went to Wal-Mart and picked up some more yarn. I made Lily a hat and scarf. They are so cute. Lily had a fit in Wal-Mart, crying that I was making her hot by holding her hand. We ran into John Fults and friends...he didn't speak to me, but Podno (?) seemed excited to meet me. Nikki said he was a ladies man.
Jason called, but I missed his call. Honest, I didn't hear my phone ring; it was probably during Lily's fit in Wal-Mart. He hasn't called back, so he must have decided that he couldn't handle being the man that calls the girl...and actually tries to get her to notice him. I didn't think he could do it. He is content to hide behind the memory of the things that happened between him and Callie. Oh well, his loss.
Haley is coming home this week, for Thxgiving. We are all excited, but Lily is most excited. She keeps asking what day Haley is coming home. I am looking forward to doing some cooking. I am going to make a "pumpkin roll" for dessert. It sounds really good from the recipe.
Well, break is over...signing off.
