This is such a Monday

Today is my first day back to work in 4 days. Lily was sick last Thursday & Friday, so I really have a lot of catching up to do here. As it turned out, the internet has been down all day [until now], and our main collections program is so slow it may as well be down too. So, I have sat, waited, worked, waited...went to lunch and met Kelly Sue's super cute, really nice boyfriend...came back, waited...worked, then filed checks. NOT a productive way to start the week. Hopefully tomorrow all systems will be a go.
Yesterday I spent the day with some old friends in Dunlap. Jenna is/was a good friend of mine in high school, and introduced me to Lily's dad. She was in town visiting her family, and invited me to have lunch with them. I met her neice, Sarah Grace (a really adorable little baby), and had some really great Chicken Tortilla soup. I want the recipe, but I know I'll never make it b/c I just don't cook. But it would be a great addition to my recipe box! Then Jenna and I drove up to Ben's house to pick up Lily...checked out Lily's 11 lizards that live in an aquarium (gross). The ex-inlaws and Ben were super-nice...enough to make me think it wasn't such a bad visit. Its probably been a year since I was at their house. Its just weird.
Finished the "boo bag". I get to take Lily trick-or-treating tomorrow...Dad has to work. I am glad though, I haven't ever take Bean T.O.T-ing alone.
Well, break is over in 3 minutes, and I still have some other stuff on the web I want to check out.
Later
