Washingtonienne

I just read that this girl, Jessica Cutler, has gotten "busted" over writing an explicit blog about her "dates" with Senatorial staffers in Washington.
She deleted her original blog, but someone recreated it.
I can't view the blog here, they have everything interesting blocked...even the news.
I am going to start Haley's poncho tonight...been thinking about what Lily and I will eat. I'm sure Mom and Dad will be at Memorial visiting Granny.
Jessica Cutler said she felt bad for all the bloggers who have been blogging for "like a year" and aren't famous yet. Can I get famous from this??? I don't want the fame she has...weird, people are weird.

Juicy Juice

This is one of the awesome things I got for Xmas from my Mom and Dad. When I was opening it, Lily yelled, "A JUICER!!!!". It was so cute, and really made Mom glad she'd bought it. This one's called the "Big Mouth", and that's probably why they chose to buy this one for me. I can't wait to juice for Lily in the AM. :)
On another very interesting note: Jason and I seemed to be making headway in our "arguement"...he agreed to let me explain the deal with MS; that it DIDN'T have anything to do with a guy down there. Then on Christmas, he called and wanted to know if wanted to do something. Granny is in the hospital, broke her knee-cap; so I wasn't planning on doing anything. I told him I had thought about doing something, but didn't know what I wanted to do. He got all pissy, saying, "well, if you go out; have fun and be careful". Immediately assuming that b/c I used "I" in my sentence about what I wanted to do...I meant that it wasn't to include him. I called him on the way home from Memorial to tell him everything was closed, but thankfully he didn't answer. I haven't heard from him since then. Oh well...I thought about calling and asking him to chill a bottle of Red Byciclette Pinot Nior for me, but I figured that would offend him.
Still been talking [emailing] Stephen...its been really nice to talk to him. Turns out, he went on one date with Cammie in 1999. Strange how lives entertwine like that!
I started a "sampler" afahgan yesterday. I'm excited about it. It has 63 different stitches...7 x 7 in squares that make an afahgan.
Well...I didn't really have anything good to blog today. I look at Cammie's and wonder how she comes up with all that stuff she writes! I guess she has lots more important things to think about. Reading her blog, then reading mine is like going from MSnbc.com to e!online.com!
Hehehe
Later, faithful readers!

Where I want to be

The sticker on my car is crooked...but its nice to see that there are other "shout outs" to BSL that aren't perfect! I guess that's what I get for sticking it to my car in the DARK!
Mom told me that Jean's receptionist quit...that he wants Mom and Dad down there, and just like "magic" a job for me too. We are praying.
I told Jason about all this, b/c I thought I could talk to him...since he claims to care for me. He flipped out, totally flipped out. Started talking about the "history" I have with some guy down there, and wondered who was this Jean person that I was going to move in with. Bless his heart, he really tangled that one up! The words "guest house" must have not been heard! I don't have a history there...except its the place I broke my leg, the place that I drempt was my home once.
So I'm pretty sure that this is really, truly "the end" for me and Jason. I don't understand the insecurity, and accusations (though he says he hasn't accused me of anything)...distrust is enough of an accusation for me. Hard to believe he loves me when he is so mean to me.
Dad got me a BSL T-Shirt, I can't wait to get home and wear it!
I have "reconnected" with Stephen McCloud, via facebook.com. It was a weird "twist of fate" b/c he had just created his facebook page yesterday. I just so happened to search his name, just in case. He is in town for Christmas, with his wife Leslie. I really hope I get a chance to meet her and see him! He was like a brother to me for so many years!
Well, break is over but no one else is doing anything...we are all counting down the minutes til noon, when we can leave! I'm going to take Lily to Sub-Way, then home for a nap. I hope that Belinda doesn't come get her, I can't stand that woman.
Reenie gave away the scarf I made her...she wanted me to make a duplicate of it for her to give away, but I was making Kara a scarf & hat and didn't have time before her party. So she gave hers. There were some other ladies there who were interested in getting one made, asking how much I charge. Reenie told them $15! I think I may get some business cards made! I think it would be so cool to be able to make money doing something I really enjoy. I've mentioned an extention of Cammie's biz, featuring crocheted items...but no response. I know she's busy...I do miss her though.
Bye for now, to my faithful readers! Hehehehe!

You Better Watch Out...Better Not Cry

Or the creepy troll-fairy will come terrorize you in the night. This fairy is very rare, and can usually be found fluttering near some type of sugar or candy. Once the fairy has consumed the sugar, better get out of its way...it will be on a crazy, screaming rampage!
In this rare photo, note the tale-tell signs that this fairy has had a special Holiday meal: the red & green smudges of what looks like icing on its mouth and hands.
Run away, run away!!!

I Love My Job
I love it more and more each day.
I love my boss, she is the best!
I love her boss, and all the rest.
I love my office and its locations, I hate to have to go on vacation.
I love my furniture, drab and grey, and piles of paper that grow each day.
I think this job is really swell, there's nothing else I love so well.
I love to work among my peers, I love their leers, and jeers, and sneers.
I love my computer and its software.
I hug it often, though it won't care. I love each program and every file.
I'd love them more if they worked a while.
I'm happy to be here. I am. I am.
I'm the happiest slave of the Firm, I am.
I love this work, I love these chores.
I love the conference calls with deadly bores.
I love my job - I'll say it again - I even love those friendly men.
Those friendly men who've come today,
In clean white coats to take me away!

Santa Stop Here...and HELP Me!

Ideas I have for a Christmas gift for Jason (these are things I know he likes):
- Stephen King book(s)
- Guitar accessories (engraved pick?)
- Engraved Zippo Lighter (he collects them)
- Drawing, done by my own hand
Other suggestions (from people at work) have been:
- book store gift certificate
- music store G.C.
- Dean Koontz book..."if he likes Stephen King, he'll like Dean Koontz" according to Janet
- a guitar strap
- guitar CD-so he can pick songs by ear
I know ya'll don't know him, but suggestions would be welcome...its not easy to buy for a man who only likes to read and play guitar in his spare time. He says that the scarf I made him is good enough, that its the best Xmas gift ever cause I made it with my own hands.

My boyfriend's back...hey naa
Jason and I have been seeing each other again. He came over last night and brought Lily and me our Christmas gifts. He knew that we would end up opening them, but I think that was his plan. He bought Lily a dancing chicken from Cracker Barrel. You turn it on, it sings & dances to the "chicken dance" song; then you grab it by the neck and it makes a choking sound. Its cute, she really likes it. My gift was much more mature and grown up...a gorgeous Citizen watch with a dark blue face, gold earrings, and the BEST card EVER!!! Starts out "for the one I love"...nuf said! The card made me cry, it was sweet and said everything that he wanted. Things that are true to our relationship. Very nice, sweet Xmas card. The best I've every gotten.
Lily's had the flu...or a flu, as she says. Went to the doctor Monday, got tamiflu for her & me. I didn't get it, but I've got a re-occurance of coughing and sneezing. I don't feel that great, my nose is all stopped up, and I feel like I have a hair in my throat. Gross...I know.
Break is over... Janette had her eyes done and she looks great! Karen-the-Barbie Credit Specialist quit today. She said she didn't think she fit in, that we made her feel unwelcome. Whatever.
Ok...seriously, got to apply the Alcoa check now.

Not Aptly Named
You know..."boot" is a strange looking word. Just look at it, study it...its weird. No, I'm weird!
Today sucks...
this is what I want to do with my computer, right before I pack up my desk and quit. Being my masacistic self, I have a date with Jason on Saturday...that should make for a good, interesting blog next week. I do actually think it will be fun...dinner and a movie downtown. Me, Jason, and the boot.
Well, break is almost over; and I still haven't had my fill of celebrity gossip/ pictures; or random, weird news on MSNBC.com.
Stay tuned faithful readers...

White Trash with Money
Before the party....."oh Paris, this is gonna be so fun!!!"This is proof that you be rich and still have no class. I was going through these pictures online and couldn't believe these! There was a whole series of Britney & Paris pix, and in all of them Paris is steering Britney around...very strange. Proabably b/c Brit is drunk out of her mind.
I called Jason last night...stupid thing to do...wine will do that to you! He emailed me today and said that he was really glad I called, that it was good to hear from me, and that he wants to go out on Saturday. I told him we could...I'm thinking b/c I really want to go to Big River Grille. He is just going to turn back into that needy, whiny baby that he was before. I know he will.
Stay tuned for tha
t!After the party..."Um, Britney; you're not going to puke in my Mercedes are you?"

A Salty Christmas

Lily & I had the best weekend ever! We spent Saturday with Nikki & Sydney: ate lunch at Mucho Caliente, went to Wal-Mart and picked up supplies, went to N&S's house to make salt dough ornaments. The girls made Christmas trees, wreaths, candy canes, and even a "Christmas booger" (Lily made that one). We painted them, and the girls used all the glitter we bought in about 10 minutes. Some of Lily's ornaments are still a little damp with glitter. Sunday Lily and I made some more salt dough, and made reindeer, stars, and picture frames. We painted those, and will make magnets out of them. It was so fun...Mommy & the Bean time. :)
Lily has been really focused on Ben not calling her lately. The other day she said that she missed her Daddy, but thought he didn't want to talk to her. Yesterday she was in my bed after her nap and told me that she loved me the most, way more than she loves her Daddy. In my mind I was sad for her, but also there was a little bit of "na-na-na-aa-boo-boo, you suck Daddy!"on my part (in my head ONLY). I told her that her Daddy loves her very much. He is so selfish, and is so wrapped up in Mahala right now, and moving into their house. Ben is a jerk! I keep thinking that when he and Mahala have a baby, he will forget all about Lily.
I am going to Wal-Mart at lunch today. Going to get Lily another pair of jeans, and me some cute shoes I looked at yesterday. My luck, this Wal-Mart won't have the shoes I want! I have to get some more yarn too...for a present I'm working on. :)
Bub-Bye for now...to all my faithful readers. I know this is riveting stuff!
